Why is Becky Bigelow married to cranky 80-year-old Ron Miscavige? After all, she’s younger than all of his four children. None of them can stand her, let alone consider her any kind of relative.
The answer is Becky gravitates to older men, hoping she can turn them into the latest in a line of sugar daddies. Married or not, it never mattered as long as she got out of it a necklace, diamond ring, gold or money.
With Ron, it started with his last name along with the fame and status that his younger son brought to it. She wanted that. But soon Becky’s desires turned to her pocketbook. Except Ron was nothing more than a pots and pans salesman who had squandered money on prostitutes and porn, and later was third trumpet in a band. Ron’s claim to fame and “asset” was his last name, which his younger son had made famous.
Becky is so hungry for money that she encourages Ron to shake down his
own children and to exploit his son’s name with salacious lies. To her, the end
justifies the means, which in this case is to profit off her husband’s family. That’s because greed drives Becky. In fact, her
social media postings show her salivating over Ferraris and fancy homes while declaring
“I’m going to be this rich!”
So it’s no wonder Becky from the start has been egging Ron on as he exploits his family. She views them as her ATM.
When she and Ron first hatched his family extortion plot, they were shacking up with his namesake son, Ronnie. Except it all blew up in their faces when Ronnie was arrested in connection with an FBI drug and prostitution sting. Becky was right there, covering it up with her husband.
They needed a new plan. So she did Ron’s bidding. Becky called a family friend of 40 years, Marion, to tell her she and Ron wanted to move to Wisconsin leaving out the fact that the older, namesake son they were living with had been busted in a sting. Becky put on a happy face, but behind it she was working to score cash.
That came when as an act of kindness and generosity Ron’s younger son gave him $100,000 to buy a home with no mortgage to burden them. Add to that a check to cover Ron’s health insurance. Becky treated it as if she personally had won the lottery.
Yet no sooner had the check arrived than she was onto her next campaign on his behalf—writing to Ron’s daughters with suggestions that they abandon their own children to live near them and, presumably, become sources of money for Ron and Becky. Of course, Becky admitted Ron is “getting forgetful and worse” but that doesn’t stop her from taking advantage of him.
Hoped-for money is why Becky puts up with the cantankerous, difficult and insufferable Ron. He refers to her as “stupid b--ch,” but she tolerates it for the expected windfall. He also treats Becky as his lackey. A friend recounting his behavior gave examples: Ron would be sitting on the couch and he needed his horn case and would say, “Becky, go get me my horn,” or “Becky, get my vitamins,” or “get me a glass of water” or “go iron my shirt” or “get my clothes out.” He incessantly orders her around as if she’s his servant.
[Ron] refers to her as “stupid b--ch,” but she tolerates it for the money.
When pointed out by a friend that it was not right to treat your wife like a lackey, Ron cackled, “Isn’t that what women are for!”
Ron does not let Becky have her own view and if she voices a differing opinion, he tells her “why are you arguing with me?” and then blows up. Becky has said she does not know how to deal with him as he will shut her out and refuse to talk to her.
That’s why at times she just lets it go.
Becky also hates Ron’s drinking, especially his thirst for Scotch. But she goes along with it. After all, they do live in one of the drunkest cities in America.
20 drunkest cities in America:
17. Milwaukee-Waukesha-West Allis, Wisc.
For many, Milwaukee is synonymous with beer. So, perhaps it's no surprise that the Milwaukee area ranks as the 17th drunkest in America. 23.3 percent of adults in Milwaukee, Waukesha and West Allis report that they drink to excess. 37.2 percent of driving deaths involve alcohol. And 347 deaths out of every 100,000 occur prematurely, perhaps as a result of alcohol-inflicted inferior health.
Becky will sell out and put on a smiling face. It is well known that Becky hated the wife of Ron’s ghostwriter Dan Koon. When asked about the thin-skinned Koon, Becky told the same friend he was “touch and go.”
When further
describing Mariette, Dan’s wife, Becky described her as “a witch.” She goes on to state the lady is “nuts and not one to be calling a
friend.”
Being the cantankerous 80-year-old that he is, Ron flies off the handle at a moment’s notice. That’s when Becky tries to get him to “chill out,” stuffing him with vitamins or making him use his “Exer-Genie.”
Deep down, she’s scared of Ron’s temper. She’s heard him admit on national TV that he beat his first wife, Loretta, once a month for 10 years. That’s 120 times! She also knows that his daughters say that it was even worse, and that he even beat them when they were girls. She knows how he was arrested for attempted rape.
That’s why she’s in a panic about him getting the credit card bills and yelling at her for using the card on a purchase he doesn’t like.
Becky complains that Ron is a control freak. He calls her nonstop, sometimes 5-6 times a day. He gets very upset if she does not call him back immediately. She has said it enrages him.

It’s no surprise that Becky’s
motto is “sometimes when the people you love hurt you the most, it’s better to
stay quiet.” It is a surprise she would be open about how she felt about Ron, especially when her goal is to cash in on her husband.
