What was Ron Miscavige to do?
He admitted on national television that he was a serial wife-beater who pummeled his wife once a month for a decade. His daughters recalled that his beatings of his late wife and his daughters were far worse than that—at least twice a week.
Ron had been caught in a whopper of a lie about why his daughters were estranged from him. As it turns out, Ron’s efforts to shift the blame unraveled when his daughters disclosed the real reason was because he spurned their pleas not to go live with his namesake son Ronnie, who had abused them years earlier. If that weren’t enough, no sooner had Ron moved into Ronnie’s house than Ronnie was arrested as part of an FBI drug and prostitution sting. To top it off, Ron was befriending people who were attacking one of his daughters through frivolous litigation and false media stories.
Ron’s whopper of a lie set the stage for the false premise of his alleged reason for dissing his own family: the personal decisions by his daughters to have nothing further to do with him.

So with all of this baggage piling up on Ron, he turned for help to the self-proclaimed “normal American boy” Jesse Prince. But it turns out Prince’s definition of “normal” involves having oral sex with his own sister when she was a teenager. Prince described the incest as the actions of “just a normal American boy.” Here it is in his own words:
Even more remarkable, Ron called Prince to ask him “to set the record straight,” ignoring the inconvenient fact that not one, but two, judges had concluded he’s a pathological liar. The Hon. Judge Susan Schaeffer, commenting on Prince’s credibility as a paid witness against Ron’s own son, stated that Prince “would tell you under oath that he wouldn’t care if he was under oath or not, he’d lie … I’m just quite flabbergasted. I don’t know that any court has ever seen the likes of him.”
The judge went on to say Prince “was just extraordinarily biased and really, frankly, he said and would say that he wouldn’t tell the truth.” The judge told the plaintiff’s attorneys that Prince “is useless to you as a credible witness.” She added that “I have a great deal of trouble with Mr. Prince being truthful.”
The Hon. W. Douglas Baird just a short time later also found that Prince was not credible. That’s two judges with the same determination: Jesse Prince cannot be believed.
Spinning stories isn’t the only reason Prince was perfect for Ron Miscavige. Something else Ron and Jesse Prince have in common—in addition to seeking a payday—is a treasure trove of appalling and deviant behavior.

Just as Ron brushed aside Prince’s admission under oath to having oral sex with his teenage sister, he also brushed aside Prince’s arrest in Macon County, Ill., for contributing to the delinquency of a minor after impregnating a teen girl. He also ignored Prince’s arrest in the same county for strolling naked down a street while high on drugs, resulting in a guilty plea for disorderly conduct. Add to that two arrests for drunken driving in Minnesota, as well as his admission to once having been a drug dealer, and it’s pretty obvious why Ron Miscavige would turn to Jesse Prince. As the saying goes, “birds of a feather flock together.”

Of course Ron doesn’t mind that Prince has made scatological statements caught on video about Ron’s own son: “I’m coming with a d*** so big, I’m going to knock his God damn spine out.” As long as Ron sees dollar signs, he’ll turn to someone like Prince in a heartbeat for “help.”
Nothing Prince could say would dig Ron out of his mountain of lies to cover up the horrific extent of his domestic abuse, his inexcusable racism, his anti-Semitism, how he sold out his family…
Not only does Prince have a documented history of lying, he was paid for his false court testimony, making him in effect a professional liar. So Ron hoped Prince could spin some magic for him. But it was not to be. Nothing Prince could say would dig Ron out of his mountain of lies to cover up the horrific extent of his domestic abuse, his inexcusable racism, his anti-Semitism, how he sold out his family and viciously subjected his daughters to harassment as part of his latest family-extortion plot.
Selling out your family like Ron Miscavige did is about as un-American as you can get. And nothing self-proclaimed “normal American boy” Jesse Prince could say would change it.
